How To Enable Google Play Store On Chromebook

Sorry but Google Play is not automatically available on all Chromebooks. How to enable the Google Play Store on your Chromebook.

Turn your Chromebook on and log in. Youll be prompted to agree to Googles terms of service click Agree to continue. Enjoy Android apps and games on your Chromebook.

Select I Agree after reading Google. Now change the channel from Static to Developer unstable. Click the time in the lower right corner.

Go to the Google Play Store section and check the box says Enable Google Play Store on your Chromebook. It may not appear to work normally after you sign in but just give it some time. Youll be prompted to agree to Googles terms of service click Agree to continue.

The Google Play Store and Google Play Services will automatically update themselves in the background. Click on the status bar in the bottom-right corner of the screen. Turn on and unlock your Chromebook main account.

If you ever wanted to install the Google Play Store on your Acer Chromebook C720P now you can. Look for the Enable Google Play Store on your Chromebook box and tickcheck the box. Click the Turn On button displayed next to Install Apps and Games from Google Play on Your Chromebook.

Select More in the pop-up window. In the window that appears select More. Sign in to the Google Play Store.

Google Play Store app will open and youll be asked. Select the Settings cog. Scroll down till you get to Google Play Store and click turn on.

A new window will appear click the Get started button accept the terms of service agreement and next youll have the Play Store running on your Chromebook. Select the one youd like to enable the Play Store for. Click the Settings icon.

Tap Play Store and youll be able to sign in with an existing Google account or create a new Google account. To do it just head to Settings and check Enable Android apps to run on your Chromebook. You have to be logged in a Chromebooks administrator account to enable this option and run Android apps.
